How to use a concealer

Dark circles, redness and unwelcome blemishes, there are many reasons why we want to use a concealer. Sometimes we simply want to cover up the things we don't want to be seen.

What can you do with a concealer?

For example, you can use it under your eyes to cover dark circles, or to cover redness, scars, age spots and pimples. Concealer works almost like an eraser and can be used to cover most things you don't want to be visible on your face.

A concealer can also be perfect for creating an even base under your eyeshadow. Your eyeshadow colors will be more pigmented and it will be much easier to blend your eyeshadow colors since you already have an even base.

Step by step how to use concealer

1. Start by applying your foundation according to your preference. Did you know that you can use a concealer without using any type of base or foundation if you prefer?

2. Then use the Inika Organics Blending Brush and your concealer, we recommend Inika Organics Full Coverage Concealer for the best possible coverage or Sheer Coverage Concealer for a lighter and more brightening effect. Using the brush, apply concealer sparingly only to the areas you want to enhance.

- Under the eyes, focus on the inner and outer corners of the eyes where we usually get more darkness or fine lines, and make sure you really blend it out properly so that there is no line where the concealer ends.

- As a base for eyeshadow, use the Inika Organics Shadow Brush and apply concealer evenly over the entire eyelid. Then create your eye makeup according to your own preference.

- For precision application, you can use the Inika Organics Detail Brush and apply concealer to pimples, age spots, redness and around the eyebrows as a blur where you don't want eyebrow color after you've filled in your brows. You can read more about filling in your brows here .

3. Apply the rest of your makeup according to your preference.

Good luck!
