Here are my best tricks for reducing cellulite and getting smoother, firmer skin.
1️⃣ Massage – activate your circulation
An effective way to reduce cellulite is to physically massage it away. This can be either a powerful massage or a gentle lymphatic massage that makes a difference to cellulite.
🌿Use your knuckles in the shower and massage up and down over the areas where you have cellulite.
🌿It stimulates circulation and the lymphatic system, which helps the body transport away waste products.
🌿 You can also use a massage brush or a cupping technique for extra effect.
You may feel a little sore in the area where you massage - but hang in there, it will get better!
2️⃣ Scrub – give your skin a new glow
Scrubbing is not only fantastic for getting silky smooth skin, it also helps reduce cellulite by stimulating circulation and blood flow.
🌿 Try a salt scrub! Salt scrubs have a natural detox effect on the skin and help the body expel toxins. If you have sensitive skin, you should choose a sugar scrub that provides a gentler exfoliation.
A hot tip is to scrub your skin in the shower before massaging it – then you get a double effect and maximize blood circulation!
3️⃣ Stimulating oils – nourishment and boost
After scrubbing and massage, it's time to lubricate the skin with a circulation-increasing oil.
🌿 Choose a body oil with ingredients such as arnica, burdock or birch , which have properties that stimulate blood flow and help the skin become firmer.
Apply the oil to damp skin and massage it in thoroughly – preferably several times a week as an intensive treatment. If you are prone to cellulite, it may be a good idea to continue this regularly to maintain the effect.
